Confession time: I actually spotted this image in our Facebook community back in August, but such is life that it’s not quite made it onto the blog yet!
If you’re anything like me your editing block is gradually getting smaller and you might even be turning your attention to that ever growing admin pile, or perhaps just taking a well earned break from it all. I can’t pretend I’m feeling on top of my workload right now but at least the list to edit is finally into single figures, so it’s time to get back to the good stuff and lots of lovely image features!
Jodie Wellings was another new name to me, and after chatting to the PKIR team about this image I came to learn that she’s pretty new to the wedding game too, which makes this image even more wonderful in my eyes; what a total gem of a capture! I love children at weddings and I know how much their parents, whether they be the couple or guests, treasure moments like these, and this is definitely an image that’ll resurface at an 18th birthday or two!
“I obviously love the innocence of the image and children in general… I first picked up a camera a few years ago and as a Mummy of two young girls Izzie Rose & Isla Poppy it made sense for me to specialise in newborn and family photography in which I’ve just opened a new studio in Failsworth.
As my girls are now getting older I have recently added Weddings to my offering. I love capturing real life, fun loving moments and loved watching this little girl and boy play together, they were inseparable all day and my heart just melted when he offered to share his Diet Coke with her…it really was the cutest moment.
